In his pursuit of the ideal home, he started from a pragmatic point of view, giving considerable attention to the impact of the environment on both body and mind.

This secluded mansion, nestled in Liyang, Jiangsu, backs onto mountains and overlooks water, perfectly capturing the natural elements of wind and energy. Surrounded by an exceptional natural landscape, the moment one steps inside, a profound sense of peace and relaxation washes over. The interior design, rooted in minimalism, evokes a calm and elegant aesthetic. The expansive spaces are wrapped in dry, warm wood tones, creating an atmosphere of tranquility with a hint of Zen.

The landscape balcony is separated from the interior by large panes of glass, allowing sunlight to pour in, softening the harshness of the heat while creating an airy and comfortable ambiance.

His dedication to the living environment is reflected in this residence's inherent connection with nature. The division of functional spaces in the home was thoughtfully designed to suit his family’s lifestyle and habits. Instilled with strong family values from a young age, he actively incorporates these ideals into his own home, blurring the boundaries between the dining and living areas to create more space for family interaction. The elders watch TV and chat on the sofa while he and his wife prepare meals. Their children, brimming with curiosity, happily join in, weaving moments of joy across generations.

Together with the designer, he cleverly used different functional elements to create a layered effect of light and shadow throughout the home. The master bedroom's floor-to-ceiling glass windows extend the room's exposure to natural light, allowing him to start each day with the morning sun and end it under a blanket of stars and moonlight—truly a serene life.

Beyond the master bedroom, his creativity shines through in the children's little sanctuary. A wall-mounted cabinet offers convenient storage, and the window by the desk is a highlight. Sunlight floods every corner of the room, blending with the natural air, nurturing a space full of life. As the children read and study, they can look up and take in the breathtaking view outside. This window not only eases visual and mental fatigue but also serves as a source of endless imagination.

As a pragmatist, he sought to get everything right from the start, leaving no room for regret. He and the designer explored countless properties, meticulously reviewing dozens of layouts before settling on the current choice.

In the design world, it's widely accepted that the highest expression of design lies in the interplay of light and shadow. However, the ultimate level of this effect is natural light.

The large, floor-to-ceiling glass windows on the balcony feature sleek lines, showcasing the timeless beauty of the window structure itself. These windows usher in natural light and stunning views of the canal, blurring the boundary between indoors and outdoors. Enjoying afternoon tea at a small island extending from the vanity, basking in the warmth of the sun, reading or napping becomes a moment of pure comfort.
